The Golden Walk
By Cris Paravicini

It seems like only yesterday,
A grand discovery was made.
Within this mighty universe,
You grasped a love that didn't fade.

You've walked together through the years,
And there's still much more to be.
While your destined journey's heart to heart,
You're a grand example, don't you see?

If clouds at times are present,
They're stitched with silver lining.
As a love that's blessed by Heaven,
Won't ever dim, but keeps on shining.

I can tell the "groom," dear and loved,
Still has that twinkle in his eye.
And his ever sweet and gentle "bride,"
Looks at him a little shy.

It's a grand and envied victory,
When your paths have turned to gold,
And your fifty years together,
Are the greatest story ever told!
